This book tells one of the many stories that populate the tales of the inhabitants of Zegrasco, a small island lost in a large ocean.
 On this island many years ago a big hole opened up and strange things began to come out: little monsters, little animals, headless knights, rotating cream cakes. If you were to take a trip to Zegrasco today, instead of the hole you would find a big totem, one of those that you usually see in Indian villages, with many heads one on top of the other and wonderful taps that emerge from the mouths from which strange things come out only a little at a time.
 The day the first hummingbirds came out of the highest tap of the Totem, causing the city to sink into a terrible stench of broccoli, it was necessary to call a town meeting. In all this chaos, what happened to the children? Well, Lotty, Fifo and Ciampa, locked in the house, decide to dress up as adventurers to avoid getting bored and suddenly find themselves in a camp from which they can only get out by finding the combination of a large padlock that blocks their only way out. Once out of the camp they head towards an inn where they discover that a wizard is looking for the ingredients for the Tricks, a very powerful spell that will allow him to make all the inhabitants do what he wants! So they decide to reach the wizard and stop him before he mixes all the ingredients and casts the spell, but during the chase Lotty, Fifo and Ciampa will have to overcome many obstacles and help new friends: dragons, goblins and giants!
 This is a book to read and play, the reader can simply read the story or
 you can experience the adventure in first person by looking through the images, searching for objects,
 solving puzzles and overcoming the same tests that the others will face
 protagonists.
